MCU: 10 Characters Who Could Lead The Avengers Against Kang The Conqueror

Up until now, Doctor Strange has never actually been a member of the Avengers in the MCU. He has fought side by side with them in Infinity War and Endgame, but he always remained something of a collaborator rather than a sworn in Avenger. This could potentially all change in the future.

Way back when Strange was being trained in Kamar-Taj, he was told that while the Avengers protect the world from physical threats, the sorcerers act against the mystic. In a way, Kang the Conqueror will be a combination of the two.

Very much a physical threat that will take the full force of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to stop, Kang will seemingly be coming at Earth-616 from a variety of different other universes – very much on the mystic side of things. Doctor Strange can bridge that gap.

In a similar way to Scott Lang potentially being the bearer of Kang news, this burden could also fall to Doctor Strange now that he has a more intimate knowledge of the multiverse. If this fight is going to take place across different universes, Strange’s role as something of a guide will be invaluable.
