8. A Nakia Spin-Off Film

Black Panther continues to make waves in just about every way imaginable, and while the film's breakout stars look to be Letitia Wright's Shuri and Winston Duke's M'Baku, Lupita Nyong'o's Nakia is undoubtedly one of its standout characters.
A Wakandan spy renowned for her combat prowess as much as she is her beliefs, Nakia is the character best-suited to a spin-off from Ryan Coogler's seminal superhero feature, and while fans have been hoping for a Black Widow film for a while now, Nakia's popularity has (understandably) gone through the roof.
An appearance in a sequel is almost guaranteed, but while it'll be great to see Nyong'o there again, giving Nakia a film of her own would be the perfect way of building upon the success of Black Panther, especially since the film's supporting cast were as good as they were.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
