6. They Recycled The Anchorman Building
In other comedy recycling news, Peyton Reed paid homage to a couple of the key players behind Ant-Man with a building. Perhaps as a nod to the fact that both Adam McKay and Paul Rudd worked together on Anchorman, Reed used a location from that movie as a key setting for Ant-Man.
Hank Pym's company headquarters was actually the Georgia Archives Building in Atlanta and had previously been the location that doubled for the news station in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Reed says he actually included it because of how it looked:
"I liked it a lot because it was this giant monolith. It felt like a laboratory that time had left behind.”
