3. The Captain Marvel Easter Egg That Makes No Sense

In a strange move that makes absolutely no sense - much like the fake Infinity Gauntlet in the Thor movies - there is a Captain Marvel Easter Egg in the movie, with absolutely no logic behind it.

As one eagle-eyed fan on Reddit spotted, when Cull Obsidian and Ebony Maw attack New York for the Time Stone, it turns out that the hulking villain's pick-axe-like weapon has a trophy attached to it linking back to Carol Danvers.

The handle has a swatch of cloth with Captain Marvel's colours and emblem on hanging from it, suggesting that he's either a fan or he killed her. Surely that could only mean that they'd met before? Perhaps we'll find out in the Captain Marvel sequel, but there was no hint of it in her first solo outing.
