The Hulk movies have paid homage to the movies and TV shows of Hulk's gone by over the years with Lou Ferigno appearing in some form with every modern Hulk. He had cameos in Lee's Hulk and in The Incredible Hulk and he'd play the voice of the Hulk in The Avengers.

But he's not the only old Hulk actor to get a nod in The Incredible Hulk. 1970s Hulk Bill Bixby gets an obscure cameo when Bruce is seen watching TV. One of the films he flicks by is The Courtship Of Eddie's Father, which starred Bixby, who played David Banner for the 1977 TV adaptation.

On top of that, we get a musical nod to the show as the score reuses music from the show as Bruce moves from town to town. And Paul Soles turns up playing Stanley, the proprietor of a pizza shop - he voiced Dr Bruce Banner in the 1960s Hulk animated series.
