MCU: 10 Greatest Black Panther Moments
6. Taking The Infinity Stones - Avengers: Infinity War
Though no one was shocked when Thanos achieved his ultimate goal of snapping his fingers, there wasn't anyone watching who expected Black Panther to be one of the heroes to be dusted. This led to the character's omission for the majority of Avengers: Endgame, but once he returned, he was always going to have a big role to play.
After the Hulk had snapped his fingers, bringing all of the MCU's lost heroes to the battlefield against Thanos' army, the key to the fight became keeping the Infinity Stones away from the Mad Titan. Several characters played a role in this, but T'Challa was the first to stand up and help Hawkeye.
This put Black Panther in the firing line of almost all of Thanos' soldiers, but he welcomed the challenge, kicking ass as he ran through waves of enemies with the gauntlet.
This was also a wonderful call back to Civil War, as T'Challa called Hawkeye Clint. When they were fighting each other at the airport in Germany, T'Challa didn't care what his adversary's name was, but by the time they fought Thanos together, they were equals on the same side of the battlefield. This was an excellent demonstration of T'Challa's evolution as a character throughout the MCU.
