He may have been instrumental in keeping the Infinity Stones safe during Endgame's final battle, but Black Panther had an even bigger role in Infinity War. Without the King opening the previously guarded gates of Wakanda to the Avengers, a lot less of them would have survived.

T'Challa took the reigns from Captain America in leading the good guys in this battle, directing the fight and rallying his troops in the face of the biggest confrontation of their lives. The King also made the potentially fatal, but ultimately necessary decision to open the doors to Thanos' forces, keeping the fighting in front of them instead of allowing them to reach Vision from behind.

Not only did T'Challa lead his troops before the fight truly began, he was the first to face Thanos' outriders once they had breached the Wakandan border. One of the coolest images of Black Panther in the MCU is seeing him match Captain America, the super soldier, stride for stride, breaking away from the pack as they ran into what was almost certain defeat.

Steve Rogers was manufactured to be the absolute perfect soldier, and T'Challa was there with him every single step of the way.
