MCU: 10 Greatest Black Panther Moments

Family and legacy are two of the strongest themes running through Black Panther both as a movie, and as a character. T'Challa's entire MCU arc began with the death of his father, with his solo movie showing the journey he had to take to embrace his new role of King in the absence of T'Chaka.

There were many things Wakanda showed us that we hadn't seen before, and T'Challa's visits to speak with his father on the Astral Plane were two of the most harrowing, hauntingly beautiful scenes shown to us by Ryan Coogler.

Imagine being able to travel to another plane of existence, and speak with those that have passed, and all the emotions that would come with it. This is what T'Challa got to experience, both as a scared child uncertain that he has enough to step into his father's shoes, and as a man confronting the wrongs that his father had done in the past.
