6. The Many Rumoured Locations Of The Soul Stone
Though the various locations of the majority of the Infinity Stones have been gradually revealed over the course of the MCU movies, the whereabouts of the elusive Soul Stone remained a mystery until very recently with the release of Infinity War.
Naturally, this late reveal had Marvel fans speculating wildly as to where the hell the Soul Stone could be.
Would it show up in Hela’s possession in Thor: Ragnarok or maybe pop up in Wakanda in Black Panther? When the Soul Stone was a no-show in both those movies, some even surmised that Infinity War would reveal the stone was embedded in Tony Stark’s DNA.
Turns out the Soul Stone was on the planet of Vormir all along being guarded by the Red Skull and all Thanos had to do to get it was sacrifice his beloved daughter Gamora by chucking her off a cliff to her death. Who’d have thunk it?
