9. It Could Tie Into She-Hulk
It was recently announced that Bruce Banner's cousin, Jennifer Walters, would be receiving her own Disney+ show. In the comics Jennifer Walters is a lawyer who becomes She-Hulk after she needs a blood transfusion and the only match is Banner, leading her to gain similar Hulk powers. Unlike Banner however, Walters still has a good grasp on her own personality and often her transformation is permanent.
With her origin being so closely tied in with Banner, it's safe to assume that he'll appear in some capacity. This could allow for the Disney+ show to set up a new chapter for the Incredible Hulk, or a film could be used to give Jennifer a bit more backstory and perhaps explain where she has been for the past ten years. Up until this point there's be no mention of Walters at all!
With She-Hulk being pinned for a 2022 release (although this is not confirmed) it's more likely that the show could sow the seeds for a new Hulk story. It'll be interesting to see how the show utilises Banner and how large of a role he will play considering the deal that Marvel currently have with Universal.
