7. Doctor Strange Doesn't Have The Time Stone

Doctor Strange 2 is happening, with the film likely to be released in 2021 (although some reports have even suggested it could take the November 2020 slot that is assumedly The Eternals'). It'll do so, however, without one of Strange's key powers.

The Time Stone is central to Doctor Strange, the Ancient One before him, and the Masters of the Mystic Arts in general. It's with that Time Stone they're able to protect the Earth: it's how Strange defeated Dormammu, and how he formulated the Endgame plan.

And now it's been destroyed by Thanos, along with the other five Infinity Stones. That has major implications upon Strange's story above the others, because it's what powered the Eye of Agamotto. Time was the Masters' greatest weapon against threats from other dimensions, and without that, Doctor Strange 2 could open up a whole new world of trouble.
