MCU: 10 Worst Things The Avengers Have Done

After years of battling together against the likes of Loki and Ultron, the Avengers had cemented themselves as a team, and truly lived up to the name of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Yet after so many years, they imploded and turned on each other.

No one came out the other side of the civil war smelling like roses. Friends fought friends, Tony brought a child in to fight a super soldier, and an airport in Germany was destroyed. The fight escalated quickly from a disagreement about the Sokovia Accords, and with so much power flying about someone was bound to get hurt.

While Vision was distracted attending to Wanda during the fight at the airport, he aimed a beam for Falcon but instead destroyed Rhodey's reactor, leaving him dead in the air and helpless as he hurtled towards the ground. The impact took away the use of his legs, with the Air Force colonel lucky to have survived at all.

Even if Vision's beam had hit the target, chances are he would have left Falcon in the same position. The android's beams were one of the most powerful weapons any of the Avengers had in their respective arsenals, and all he had to do was clip one of Sam's wings to send him crashing down to Earth.
