I've talked a lot about the epic ways The Avengers could be wiped out by Thanos in Phase 3, but looking ahead to Phase 4, things taking a far more personal turn would be no bad thing. In the Avengers: Disassembled storyline, a deranged Scarlet Witch (driven mad by the loss of the children she unwittingly created through her chaos powers) brought hell down on The Avengers. I mentioned The Vision being torn in half, but also killed were Ant-Man, who was blown up by a resurrected Jack of Hearts, and Hawkeye. His death came when he rocketed into a Kree spaceship, blowing it up in the process. Those are all pretty cool ways to take out The Avengers, but a movie could and should take things a step further. Things like Tony Stark being murdered by a returning Ultron for example or Giant Man having a hole blasted through his chest by an out of control Thor (something which happened to Goliath in the Civil War comic book, but which won't be making it into that movie given the lack of a Thor clone and the fact that Ant-Man has a sequel on the way). The point is, the Scarlet Witch should just tear The Avengers apart, destroying them all in a suitably gruesome way... before bringing them back of course!
