MCU: 12 Things You Learn Rewatching Thor: The Dark World

The Dark World clocks in at "only" 112 minutes, making it the shortest movie in the entire MCU, tied with The Incredible Hulk. Nowadays it's practically unheard of for an MCU film to clock in at less than two hours - only Ant-Man and Doctor Strange since have managed it - so considering that this movie is a pretty middling effort, it at least doesn't outstay its welcome too much.

This being a Marvel movie and all, the credits also run for over 10 minutes, so you're really only sitting down for 100 minutes in all. While the movie clearly could've been trimmed down further were some of its more dubious subplots cast aside, just be grateful it's not the 140-minute slog it so easily could've been.
