Spider-Man: No Way Home is without question one of the most anticipated movies of Marvel Studios’ current slate, but with it comes the question mark over the character's future involvement in the franchise. Is the end of his MCU trilogy his exit to instead exist inside Sony’s Spider-Man Universe alongside the likes of Venom and Morbius?

At the very least, there is now confirmation that the MCU version of Peter Parker will continue on in the franchise with Spider-Man: Freshman Year on Disney+. The animated series will reportedly detail the years leading up to Peter becoming Spider-Man, something that was omitted when he debuted in Captain America: Civil War.

What is uncertain right now is whether or not Tom Holland will return to voice the character. He has been the MCU’s Peter Parker since 2016, and has done a wonderful job in bringing the Wall-crawler to life. However, in What If…? the job of voicing Peter's animated form was given to Hudson Thames, who also gave a great performance.

Either way, more Spidey in the MCU can never be a bad thing, and it’s likely that this will be the first time Uncle Ben appears on a Marvel Studios screen.
