MCU: 13 Things You Learn Rewatching Ant-Man

1. Paul Rudd Is Just The Absolute Best

But then, you should learn that every time you watch ANY of his films, to be honest.

Rudd might not have been the most conventional choice to play a superhero, but his hire was very much from the same school of thought that saw Chris Pratt brought in to play Star-Lord. In essence: you can teach a charismatic, hugely likeable actor to be a hero a lot easier than you can convince a "heroic type" to be charming.

He's the most heartfelt of all of the MCU's heroes so far, which helps because up to this point he was one of the only ones to have a family and though he's not given as much space to mug around as he is in other roles, he's still funny as the straighter guy. Honestly, he's just incredibly watchable and Ant-Man probably wouldn't work half as well with someone else in the suit.
