4. But It's The One Thanos Scene That Makes Sense

For all this movie does very little with Thanos, it does hold one important advantage over his other appearances: it still makes sense.

His first appearance needs to be retconned, because Thanos' motivation is no longer him courting death, and the Age of Ultron stinger never made much sense anyway (as it seemingly suggested he was doing it himself because Ultron had let him down, despite a connection between the pair never being made).

This one, though, does still fit - although he needs a power upgrade - and can be naturally built upon thanks to the established relationship with his daughters, Gamora and Nebula, which will surely be key to defeating him.
