MCU: 14 Things You Learn Rewatching Guardians Of The Galaxy

5. Thanos Doesn't Look Great, And Does Very Little

Infinity War will flesh Thanos out and make him a main character, but before that actually happens then Guardians of the Galaxy is one of the only movies we really have to go on for the Mad Titan. And, well, it ain't great in that regard.

Thanos' appearance in Infinity War has been called into question, but it's worse here, with some poor CGI and the framing of the character making him look ridiculously small (at least Infinity War shows him being imposing).

Even worse, though, is that he does absolutely nothing. He barks orders at Ronan for a bit, but even the Accuser - one of the sh*ttest villains in the MCU - eventually turns on him, and Thanos can't do anything but sit on his rock. Infinity War has a lot of work to do with the character, because this movie - the only one where his appearance isn't confined to a post-credits stinger - does almost nothing with him.
