MCU: 15 Majorly Dumb Plot Holes You Never Noticed

Near the beginning of Captain America: Winter Soldier, Hydra attempt to assassinate Nick Fury. Although he manages to evade the terrorist in his car, a brainwashed Bucky Barnes shoots an explosive at his automobile, blowing it up. The Winter Soldier strides towards the vehicle and rips the door off, preparing to kill Fury once and for all. Luckily, Fury used a laser to cut through the floor and escape through the sewer.

And what does the Winter Soldier do? Absolutely nothing. Even though Fury is dazed and heavily injured, Hydra decides to let him go, giving the SHIELD director plenty of time to warn Captain America that the organisation has been compromised. If the Winter Soldier tracked Fury through the sewers, he could've killed him then and there, leaving Cap none the wiser of SHIELD's double agents.
