Despite rumours that he's playing Pip, Peter Dinklage is in fact in negotiations to play Eitri, "the creator of the Infinity Gauntlet".

Response

Eitri is a very necessary part of the Infinity Saga lore, since you have to wonder why anyone would create an Infinity Gauntlet when everyone in the universe seems aware already that having any two Stones close to each other would be disastrous.

It would be a nice step in the build to Infinity War's climax to see him reintroduced as the Avengers seek a means to take down Thanos, and having someone as talented as Dinklage playing the role would be a huge boost for the Russos.

Of course, the idea of him playing Pip would also be exciting (not least because he would come with Adam Warlock, presumably), but Eitri would seem to suit the narrative better at this stage.
