MCU: 5 Marvel Characters Russell Crowe Could Play In Thor: Love And Thunder

Phase Four of the MCU promises to be unlike anything fans have seen before in so many ways. Now that the Infinity Saga has come to close, the door is open for another over-arcing narrative which could tie in to the Multiverse of Madness.

There are already rumours that there will be multiple versions of Loki running around in the third Disney+ series of the same name, and with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness set to release just two months before Love and Thunder, there could be multiple versions of Thor in his fourth solo movie.

Set photos of Chris Hemsworth in his new costume have already teased a potential appearance from Thunderstrike, and there is another version of the character that would seemingly fit Russell Crowe perfectly in the form of King Thor.

This version of the character became the Allfather of Asgard in another reality, and as he has previously fought with Gorr the God Butcher, the villain Christian Bale will play in Love and Thunder, he certainly wouldn't be out of place in the story Taika Waititi will be telling in 2022.
