3. Misty Knight Teams Up With Valkyrie
One character who really made a splash during Luke Cage's run is Simmone Missick's Misty Knight. With this in mind, not to mention the fanfare surrounding Tessa Thompson's take on Valkyrie in Thor Ragnarok, Marvel would be missing out on a massive opportunity if they ignored the Fearless Defenders arc that saw the pair join forces.
In this run, Valkyrie was tasked by the All-Mother (the then ruler of Asgard) to seek out other heroic women to defend the realm, yet the hero put the endeavour, opting to instead embark on a course of drunken debauchery across Earth, finally teaming up with Misty after an archaeologist sets off an Asgardian relic.
Shenanigans ensue, but throughout the course of the series, the dynamic between the detective and the god really was fantastic, and would be perfect for on-screen adaptation, whether that be a fully-fledged movie, or simply another show for Disney to put on their streaming service.
