MCU: Every Final Battle Ranked From Worst To Best

As the culmination of 11 years of film, Avengers: Endgame was tasked with delivering a truly epic finale, and it did not disappoint. The film as a whole isn't perfect, but its third act sure as hell is.

What's not to love? We get an epic battle with Thor, Iron Man, and Cap against Thanos, and Cap wields Mjolnir! Then there's an incredible shot where Cap seemingly stands against Thanos' army alone before the portals show up, and all of the Avengers show up at the battlefield. And of course, Cap finally says "Avengers Assemble."

The ensuing battle is truly epic in scale with almost every hero introduced into the MCU at this point in the action. A lot of it is pure fan service, sure, but it's extraordinary, nonetheless.

The climax culminates in Tony Stark taking the stones and wiping out Thanos and his army once and for all, but at the cost of his own life. It was devastating, but a perfect end for the character.

Endgame's final battle is phenomenal, and the perfect ending to the Infinity Saga. No matter what the MCU has in store for the future, it'll be quite a task to ever top this.
