Marvel: "So yeah, Spider-Man is totally dead guys."

Sony: "Er, yeah, about that..."

Avengers: Endgame may be playing coy on that status of its snapped heroes, but Sony are under no such obligations, which means Far From Home's marketing has Spider-Man front and centre (and there wasn't really any other way).

The trailer is interesting for what it might tell us about Endgame, but the movie itself looks like an absolute blast. It's weird having a Spidey movie that leaves New York for most of its runtime, but the vacation shenanigans promise more of the John Hughes-esque teen comedy Homecoming had, and Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio is a thrilling choice for the main villain. Picking up just after Endgame, this is going to be a great way to swing into Phase 4.
