MCU: Every Infinity Saga Villain RANKED
3. Black Panther - Erik Killmonger
Successful villains in the MCU are the ones who leave a mark on their enemies even after they die. Whether they devastate the heroes emotionally or physically, they should be commended for their efforts and what they leave behind in death.
In Erik Killmonger's case, he leaves King T'Challa not feeling guilty, but saddened and resentful that for as long as Wakanda has thrived. Killmonger is one of (if not) the only villains to actually be correct in their endeavours. Had he not wandered into Wakanda with a trail of bodies behind him, he might have been the unsung hero.
His brutality has to be displayed though; in his trial by combat with T'Challa we see he is not messing around as every scarred ridge on his body represents a kill he has made. Later we see him choke and murder elders in Wakanda, and later plot to send advanced weapons out so African descendants can rise up and fight in the name of Wakanda.
Michael B. Jordan thrives as Killmonger, and had he survived we would be looking forward to him in the sequel.
