MCU: Every Marvel Cinematic Universe Movie Ranked Worst To Best
11. Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)
Even though it proved a difficult production for Joss Whedon - thanks, again, to the studio interference that doesn't seem to be mentioned a lot around the MCU - the second Avengers movie still hit a lot of high points. Crucially, it furthered already established MCU threads - in particular, Tony Stark's spiral into guilt - and introduced a story far more focused than the first Avengers movie.
Perhaps because Whedon was working against the studio a lot of the time, not everything comes off perfectly, but James Spader's Ultron is a joy to watch (without being a top-level villain), the introduction of the twins and Vision work well and Hawkeye finally gets a chance to do something.
Once more, Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark is brilliant, Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner is a step beyond what he was in The Avengers and the whole thing is a lot of fun.
