13. Ant-Man & The Wasp - Lost In The Quantum Realm

In the run-up to Ant-Man & The Wasp's release, we were all told that the film would have a KEY link to Infinity War, so we should definitely all go to the cinema to see it. Including those of us in the UK who were delayed in our ability to see it because Disney didn't think we could watch both it and the World Cup at the same time. This will never be okay.

Anyway, the mid-credits scene on the movie was pretty much the only link to Infinity War, but it's a big one. Seeing Scott head into the Quantum Realm and then be stranded when Thanos' snap takes Hank, Janet and Hope is a great moment in itself, but how it fits with Endgame makes it even better.

This was where we saw a big hint at how Endgame's story will go and offered the lead-in for Ant-Man's major part in that movie. And it's the first time anyone's ever been killed in a stringer, so it's no small thing.
