MCU: Every Single Marvel Movie Post-Credits Scene Ranked Worst To Best
11. Spider-Man: Homecoming - The Scorpion
When Michael Mando was cast in Spider-Man: Homecoming, it was fairly obvious that he'd be playing a villain. He's made for those roles and he didn't exactly fit the mold of playing one of Peter Parker's fellow schoolmates. So the film carried the added edge of fans waiting to find out when he'd be revealed and who exactly he was playing.
It turned out - as as leaked ahead of release, in fact - that he was playing Mac Gargan, a client of the Vulture's black market weapons trading, otherwise known as the Scorpion in the comics. And while we didn't get to see him in his full costume, the post-credits scene confirmed that Gargan is out for revenge on Spider-Man and would likely return in a sequel.
Unfortunately, there's now a nagging fear that he'll get the same MCU treatment as Colonel Strucker - i.e. being killed off in the first act to tie up the loose end - but hopefully Far From Home will leave him around to return again properly while it focuses on Mysterio's story.
