The breakout star of Bridgerton features as the youngest entry on this list, but that is by no means a hindrance. Instead, this age is a bonus in regard to the MCU’s current trajectory. Regé-Jean Page may not be as qualified as other names on this list, yet, for what he lacks in experience he more than certainly makes up for in terms of his acting proficiency. The actor rose to recognition in Netflix’s period drama formerly mentioned, earning an Emmy nomination for his performance, and has become one of the most in-demand Brits across the Atlantic.

Page’s name was mistakenly featured as part of the cast back in July for Marvel’s upcoming Secret Invasion film during SDCC. Although the studio were quick to dismiss the Londoner’s casting, the sheer randomness of his name coming up seems a weird coincidence, and as such, Regé may very well be tied down to another role within the MCU - which may be Reed Richards.

This is pure speculation, of course, and could be seen as a huge stretch – if you pardon the pun – but there’s no denying that the Englishman wouldn’t make for a fine incarnation of the beloved character. Mister Fantastic would be the largest role of his career to date, but the 34-year-old’s most recent outing as the cold and calculated Carmichael within Netflix’s The Gray Man depicted a character who opts for brains over brawn when faced with conflict. This could coincide nicely with Richards’ philosophy.
