MCU: How Marvel Should Re-Introduce Every Netflix Hero
3. Luke Cage
Arguably the best era of Luke Cage in Marvel comics was the one that saw him take centre stage in the Avengers, him even taking up leadership duties at some points.
It is this era then that should be used to bring the character to the MCU-proper, with a recruitment drive for Marvel's premiere team being a simple, yet probably effective method of making Luke Cage a staple of the House of Ideas' cinematic universe.
At one point or another, there will be some sort of superhero battle in New York (whether that be with the entire Avengers team or simply one of its members) - which Cage could see step in (he is the defender of Harlem, after all) and then be slowly inducted into the group as the movies go on, with him eventually stepping up to a leadership role in the years that follow.
