6. Namor The Sub-Mariner

Like Wakanda was highlighted by virtue of a dot in Africa on the aforementioned map in Iron Man 2, there was also a dot located smack bang in the middle of the ocean. Many people saw this as confirmation of the existence of Atlantis in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and, as such, the existence of Namor the Sub-Mariner. The problem was, back then, the rights to the character were tied up with Universal Pictures. Now, however, they have reverted back to Marvel and, although his inclusion still wouldn't be quite as contractually easy as certain other characters, it would be cool to give him a movie to appease those people who've been wanting him to appear ever since he was first hinted at on the map. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has land characters, flying characters and space characters, so it would certainly be refreshing to see some based in the sea.
