There have been rumours of Easter eggs suggesting Spider-Man's existence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a while. For example, the Oscorp building was set to appear in the skyline of New York in the Avengers movie, but complications meant it failed to materialise. Now that Sony have become somewhat disillusioned with the Amazing Spider-Man franchise, talks have occurred between them and Marvel Studios about the possibility of Spider-Man coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe - and, at some point over the course of Phase 3, it would be cool to see him referenced. The Daily Bugle could appear on screen - either the building or an actual newspaper - or Peter Parker's name could appear in a S.H.I.E.L.D. database. Essentially, anything hinting at Spider-Man's existence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe would send fans wild.
