MCU Phase 4: 10 Dead Characters Who Could Return

Vision is likely to be coming back to our screens as he’s due to star in the Disney+ show WandaVision. Ropey title aside, this promises to be an interesting look at the relationship between two of the Avengers’ most underutilised power hitters.

Much like Ultron, there’s also the fact that Vision is a robot and therefore not mortal in the typical sense, meaning coming back from the dead doesn’t require any huge complexities. He’s previously existed with the Mind Stone as an indelible part of him, but much was made in Infinity War about the possibility that he could function without it.

This turned out to be a bit of a gotcha moment for the audience, with Wanda resorting to killing him before Thanos reversed time and ripped it out of his head anyway. However, the seed was planted that one can exist without the other.

We don’t know how much of Vision Shuri was able to separate from the Stone, but presumably that part of Vision is stored on a Wakandan hard drive somewhere. As she was snapped, Shuri was unable to work on it, but now that she’s back she may be able to recover Vision once and for all.
