MCU Phase 4: 10 Major Marvel Heroes Who Must Appear

7. Ghost Rider

Silver Surfer MCU
Marvel Comics

Ghost Rider’s most violent leanings mean he may be in a similar predicament to Blade, and his previous movies don’t exactly make for encouraging viewing, with both the 2007 feature and its 2012 follow-up disappointing on multiple levels.

The Robbie Reyes version of the character has featured in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but it’s the Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider that fans would be desperate to see. Blaze also features in S.H.I.E.L.D., but only in a single episode and in a flashback to boot.

However, you’d think Kevin Feige would be able to muster up an entry route for Blaze to enter the MCU if he so wishes. The hellfire that surrounds him certainly makes for visceral image with high quality special effects, and a movie with more characterisation and less stunts would help leave Nicholas Cage's turn as the character well and truly in the dust.

He’s a character comics fans have been crying out for for years now, even if Marvel may find it difficult to fit him on the big screen.
