MCU Phase 4: 10 Marvel Characters Keanu Reeves Is Most Likely To Play
7. Adam Warlock
Adam Warlock has become the elephant in the room for the MCU.
It was a little surprising not to see him in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, but he seemed a shoo-in for the second. However, in the end we only saw his ‘birth’ at the hands of Ayesha in the credits scene, which felt a little hollow.
Since then, the Guardians have been involved in both Infinity War and Endgame, but still no Warlock. In a similar way to Captain Marvel missing most of Endgame, it feels like the hugely powerful Warlock was kept out of it until Thanos had been dealt with.
It would make sense for Thor to join the Guardians ahead of Warlock’s arrival, to beef them up in case of any face off.
A few names have been thrown around as potential Adam Warlocks, and Keanu Reeves has now been added to the conversation. However, Marvel must recognise that there’s more eyes on this casting than on many others.
Keanu Reeves would definitely deliver on the hype, as would long time top fantasy casting Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Watch this space.
