MCU Phase 4: 10 Marvel Characters Keanu Reeves Is Most Likely To Play

It feels like Moon Knight has been slowly making his way to the front of the queue in the MCU. With Spider-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel now established characters in the franchise, you have to think Moon Knight will be one of the next heroes to get a solo feature.

It’ll probably be one of the grittiest, murkiest solo movies Marvel have done, closer to, say, The Winter Soldier, than to Ragnarok. Keanu Reeves then feels like a fantastic choice for this sort of role, having done it so often throughout his later career.

Moon Knight is sometimes compared to Batman, and while discussions inevitably lead to Moon Knight coming off second best, his wealth, heavy use of gadgetry and shadows do invite comparison. He’ll likely have a lot of high octane action sequences, fight scenes and practical effects - all things Reeves is well versed in.

A former boxer and marine who became a mercenary and explorer, there’s a lot of directions the MCU can take Moon Knight in moving forward. His multiple personalities offer something brand new and very dark for the series to explore as well.
