MCU Phase 4: 10 Marvel Characters Keanu Reeves Is Most Likely To Play

Silver Surfer was badly butchered in the sequel to the original Fantastic Four film, even more than Galactus was. With the Fantastic Four sure to come over to the MCU in the not to distant future, surely the noble intergalactic traveler will be not too far behind them.

Keanu Reeves has quite a measured tone to his way of speaking. It's what helped him sell John Wick’s rugged determination, but by going a little softer he could pull off mysticism well too.

The Silver Surfer doesn’t need the classic Marvel quip style. In fact he’s far better off without it. Deadpan done well is Keanu Reeves’ area of expertise, so he’d definitely do the role justice, almost like he did with Klaatu in the remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still.

Some have called for Reeves to be cast as Mr. Fantastic, but in the case of the Fantastic Four’s leader there are probably other actors who could do it better. With the Silver Surfer himself though, Keanu could well be the front runner.
