MCU Phase 4: 10 Marvel Characters Keanu Reeves Is Most Likely To Play

Nova, like Adam Warlock, is a character fans have been expecting in the cosmic part of the MCU ever since Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol 1. There’s a lot of things falling into place which could see it finally happen soon, and Keanu might be in the right place at the right time to snag the role.

Even though the Nova Corps were in Guardians 1, there was no space for the hero himself. With that movie establishing Ronan, Nebula and Thanos as well as the five Guardians themselves, it’s understandable that he was left on the sidelines.

The second Guardians movie then spun away a little, and there was no real way Nova could have made sense in it. However, with Thor: Ragnarok and the fates of Thor and Valkyrie post Endgame lending themselves to more cosmic adventures - plus James Gunn being back behind the wheel of Guardians - a wide open cosmic universe could happen.

Captain Marvel’s focus away from Earth and the arrivals of the Eternals lend themselves to this too. If that’s the case, Nova is a shoo-in and needs a massive star with action experience to take on the role. Marvel could do a lot worse than Keanu Reeves.
