9. Black Panther: Doomwar
There’s been a fair few rumours swirling about Black Panther 2, but this is probably the one with the most credibility. That Namor could appear has substance, but then he could just as easily appear elsewhere too. Then there’s the bizarre rumour that Killmonger could be back from the dead, which practically no one wants to be true.
That rumour came courtesy of Courtney B. Vance, husband to Black Panther star Angela Bassett, who blurted out on the red carpet that Michael B. Jordan would be back for the sequel.
What fans are hoping for though is that Black Panther 2 will receive the subtitle Doomwar.
Doomwar was a comic book arc which saw Doctor Doom overthrow Wakanda in order to get access to their precious vibranium. It would be a huge scale introduction for Doctor Doom, but he certainly deserves one.
All of the Fantastic Four movies to date have paled in comparison to the page and ink Doctor Doom; largely considered to be one of the greatest villains the medium has ever seen. He’s worthy of an epic tale, and debuting in Black Panther may offer him that.
