9. A New Avengers Roster

Though the surprise and mystery behind Avengers 4 continues to fall victim (apparently) to set-photos and spoiler-ific interviews, one thing everyone's been aware of for a while now is that the Avengers are set to undergo a big change. How could it possibly be more influential than Thanos' snap? Well, these changes are set to be permanent.

Tony Stark and Steve Rogers are the two most likely departures, with Evans' character likely to pass away and Downey Jr.'s more likely to retire, and it's going to send shockwaves throughout the following phase. These were the two biggest leaders of the franchise, and when they go, replacements are going to have to be drafted in.

Marvel fans shouldn't fret, however. There have been dozens of Avengers lineups in the comics over the years (some, admittedly, more iconic than others), and most have found a chemistry that's won over their own set of fans. There's no reason to say that Marvel can't do the same with the films, and with the chance to really experiment with Earth's Mightiest Heroes, they could make Phase 4 truly worthwhile.

Make it a cosmic coalition that spans all areas of the MCU, and people will forget about shell-head and Cap in no time.
