Moon Knight is one of the more unlikely characters to have been teased for the big screen, with anti-hero lending himself more obviously to the darker nature of Marvel's Netflix shows. And yet he's a character Marvel Studios keep hinting at, with the first tease coming from Kevin Feige prior to Avengers: Infinity War's release.
Afterwards came a request from the film's writers for someone to make a "really good" Moon Knight movie, and then Red Skull actor Ross Marquand said that he'd be interested in the part when quizzed by a fan at a comic con just the other month.
Understandably, fans have not taken the teases lightly - and for good cause too. Moon Knight would compliment the MCU wonderfully, and in providing some much-needed tonal variety to its proceedings, could end up providing the perfect bridge between the film series and its TV counterpart.
For what it's worth, Marc Spector also served alongside the Secret Avengers in the comics. It means he'd work in an ensemble, if Marvel were really to branch out with the Avengers roster. And speaking of...
