MCU Phase 4: 10 Villains Who Could Actually Replace Thanos

8. Sin Schmidt

Kang Avengers
Marvel Comics

Fantasy Casting: Elizabeth Banks

It seemed that Red Skull, like so many of the early MCU villains, had had his moment in the spotlight and was to be forgotten about forever; they were very much just getting used to the idea of interconnected movies at that point. The fact Hugo Weaving apparently hated the prosthetics the role demanded didn’t help either.

Most people had made their peace with this. Red Skull is a fascinating character, but Marvel’s roster isn’t short of brilliant characters, so they’re allowed to brush a few aside after a single use. However, with his surprise appearance in Infinity War, Red Skull is back under the microscope.

Many are speculating that Gamora or the Soul Stone could be the key to Endgame undoing the snap, so Red Skull might reappear again.

That could lay the groundwork for his daughter, Sin Schmidt, to be the next major villain. Merging her Mother Superior persona would grant her impressive psychic powers, and through her father she has a strong motivation to bring the Avengers down.

Elizabeth Banks, while known more for comedy, has biting wit, can pull off sultry easily and her villain was cleathe best thing in the Power Rangers movie.
