MCU Phase 4: 10 Ways It's Setting The Stage For An Epic Phase 5

There's no sign of the Fantastic Four in Phase 4 (talk about a missed opportunity), but plans for Marvel's First Family definitely appear to be a little further along than whatever's going on with the X-Men. Of course, when Marvel Studios got their hands on that franchise, they also acquired some truly great villains.

It's no secret that Kevin Feige has been keen to get his hands on Galactus and the Silver Surfer for a while now (he once offered Fox the chance to keep Daredevil in exchange for those two), so Phase 4 is damn near guaranteed to tease their arrival in some way.

With so many other big stories set for this next wave of movies, it's far too soon for Galactus to be the big bad of any upcoming release, but Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 4 would be the perfect place for fans to get a glimpse of the iconic villain (Eternals could also mention him in some way).

This isn't an introduction likely to be off until Phase 5 and the introduction of the Fantastic Four, but it's something to keep an eye on which will have major ramifications for future stories.
