While it was originally left off the Phase 4 announcement at Comic Con, it seems that changes to Spider-Man's MCU status may have pushed the Black Panther 2 release date up a little and Ryan Coogler's inevitable sequel was added to the end of the current Phase at D23.

This is no after-thought though - the original movie made an absolute fortune at the box office and the return of Coogler to the director's chair is a huge coup. He'll be reunited with Chadwick Boseman and hopefully those rumours of Namor turning up prove to be true too.

Any story that allows for more time spent exploring Wakanda's rich and vibrant world has got to be a good thing, right?
