Marvel's designs on the Hulk license are difficult to discern these days, but with a dispute with Universal clouding any potential solo films, it seems as though the Studio have been content in telling Bruce Banner's story through the other films of their franchise, from Avengers all the way through to Ragnarok and now Infinity War.
Mark Ruffalo's character is much adored among audiences, and while he'd seem like a more unlikely character to depart in Avengers 4, Marvel appear to be making legacy a key aspect of the founding Avengers' respective arcs.
Jennifer Walters hasn't even been hinted at yet, but that doesn't detract from the fact the character possesses obvious potential; she's a lawyer and a superhero, but not just any superhero - she has the power of the Hulk with all her personality intact, and while her introduction might seem a little perplexing at this stage, there's a way of introducing her organically.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
