3. Venom & Other Sony Characters Make An Appearance
Phase 5 is still shrouded in mystery even though we have a pretty clear cut picture of the major players in Phase 4. What's even more uncertain is the details of Sony's Spider-Verse. These two question marks won't be removed any time soon, but there is one safe bet we can make.
Some of Sony's characters will appear in the MCU.
Venom is one of Spider-Man's greatest enemies, and with Vulture appearing in the Morbius trailer, it won't be a shock if Tom Hardy or Jared Leto show face in the MCU. Sony may even play hardball with Marvel, offering up second-tier characters so they can keep the heavy hitters in their own universe.
Whichever the case, it's almost a certainty that Sony characters will make their way into the MCU so long as these two studios work together — even more certain if Tom Holland is introduced into Sony's Spider-Verse in Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
Hopefully, these separate universes don't collide in convoluted ways. While we're at it, let's also cross our fingers that Sony doesn't try to force the MCU to stuff one of their films full of too many villains.
