8. Captain America

Status: Predicted

One of the most curious things about Comic Con's slate of announcements was that the Falcon and Winter Soldier Disney+ show was announced with the same title as it was initially teased. In the wake of Endgame's passing of the torch, you could have been forgiven for believing Marvel would rebrand it as a Captain America property. But that show remains The Falcon And The Winter Soldier.

There's something about that that doesn't quite sit right, because Sam Wilson is now the new Captain America, but looking at the vague shape of that show and Zemo's involvement, it makes sense to consider it as a sort of proving ground for Wilson. When he blossoms out of the other side of it, he will take on the mantle of Captain America fully.

And because Disney are not stupid, they will take advantage of the opportunity to put the second Captain America in his own movie rather than leaving him on Disney+. With a conscious agenda to push representation in their media, it's not rocket science.
