MCU Phase 5: Every Single Character Confirmed (So Far)

16. Adam Warlock (TBC) - Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3

And behold, Ayesha's grand plan for gaining her revenge on the Guardians - her greatest creation yet, the most perfect Sovereign individual ever conceived and thus, presumably, absolutely no match for them or anyone. At the end of Vol 2, she christens her creation Adam, pointing very much to the fact that she's about to unleash Adam Warlock on the MCU.

We don't know anything about him just yet - other than where he's coming from and what he's supposed to be - but it's likely we'll be looking at a similar origin story to the comics in which Warlock rejected his prime directive and sought to explore his own identity instead. That, tied to Rocket Raccoon's past, might set the main narrative for Vol 3 (alongside other story details too, of course).

Now we just need to see who they've got in mind for the casting.
