MCU Phase Four: 8 Marvel Legacy Heroes Who Need To Appear
7. Miss America - America Chavez
In terms of outshining the original, America Chavez is one of the most successful legacy heroes ever as she is far more beloved than her obscure predecessor - the original Miss America, Madeline Joyce, dates back to 1943.
Not only is America a badass character, but she would also be one of the most powerful heroes in the MCU. As well as the usual super strength and durability, America is super fast, can fly and can literally punch open holes in reality and travel to other universes. Which could be a way to introduce the multiverse to the MCU.
America kicked down doors in real-life as well. Not only was she the first ever Latino character to get their own Marvel series, but she later became one of the few lesbian leading comic book ladies when she came out. It's worth remembering that no Marvel or DC movie has had an LGBT lead to date, which should change in Phase 4.
And if Miss America were to enter the MCU, she might as well bring her comic book team with her. The Young Avengers are effectively Marvel's Teen Titans, featuring adolescent versions of the Avengers like Hulkling and Wiccan and Speed (Scarlet Witch and Vision's kids).
