MCU Phase Four: 8 Marvel Legacy Heroes Who Need To Appear

3. Ms Marvel - Kamala Khan

On the surface, Kamala Khan might be a strange choice as the character she replaced as Ms Marvel was Carol Danvers, who hasn't even made her MCU debut yet as played by Brie Larson. When she arrives, though, she will be taking on the mantle of Captain Marvel, leaving the Ms Marvel moniker available.

As Marvel's first ever Muslim heroine, Kamala instantly received a lot of popularity once she debuted in 2013. The trick to that was that she was a great character in her own right, regardless of her ethnic or religious background. Some even called her a modern-day Spider-Man. Speaking of which, her story is very similar to Peter Parker's in Spider-Man: Homecoming. She initially wanted to be just like her idol Captain Danvers, but gradually grew into her own hero.

Ms Marvel's skill-set would also make her a refreshing character for Phase Four. A shapeshifter who generally uses her abilities to elongate her limbs or grow in size, she could be the MCU's answer to Mr Fantastic, seeing as it doesn't look like Fox are going to relinquish their grip on the Fantastic Four anytime soon. Plus, Kamala's an Inhuman too, thereby introducing a connection with Marvel's TV universe.
